My career in art began with watercolor as my chosen media. However before long I found myself longing for more vibrant color.  Golden fluid acrylics came to be my preferred media. I am intrigued by the contrast of transparent pigment versus opaque and the building layer upon layer. Collage also gives me the perfect vehicle. A love is to paint my papers first with a transparent pigment then add designs in opaque.

Being an animal lover, I love to paint people's "best friend". Often I incorporate a dog into a landscape or a scene...They never object!
